The Dunkin

We decided that while we were home in New Zealand that we would like to have abbey Baptised or Christened. As a child Abbey is obviously too young to speak for herself or choose for herself in regards to faith and so in having Abbey Baptised we as her mam and papa are just emphasizing the importance of faith in our lives and accepting the responsibility of being models of the Christian faith by practising it in our own lives.

So on Sunday the 16th we gathered with family and friends so that Abbey could be dunked in the beautiful bath of God's love. She seemed to enjoy the process and chatted the whole way through. I think the cold water was a nice cooling relief on her hot wee body.

It was just wonderful to see our friends again and we hope we can see more of you in the short time that we're here. At least with the move to Aus although not close we will be closer and perhaps entice some of you to come for a holiday and see more of you all when we're back ourselves.
